I like this quote too, Randy. Not only because of my admiration for and interest in Teddy Roosevelt’s life, but because it encourages me to keep going even though I feel like my life has pretty much been a total failure. I would like to think that the Lord knows I have fought, struggled and tried my best even though things have not turned out very well, and I seem to have very little to show for my efforts.

Tim, thanks for your comment. The quote also reminds me that in spite of my own failures I have at least been “in the ring!”
